Motorhome Rental Terms

Office Hours

Our office is open from 9 AM - 6 PM Monday through Saturday. We are closed Sunday.

Please call ahead if planning to come in on Saturday or after hours to view an RV.

Reservation Requirements

Motor Homes are rented on a first come first served basis.

RV Partners reserves the right to substitute an upgraded motor home should the RV reserved be made unrentable for any reason.

No same day rentals are accepted. A minimum of 24 hours is required to process all paperwork and process the rental.

Generally, we do not require a mandatory prep or cleaning fee.

Renter & Driver Requirements

All drivers must be minimum 25 years of age at time of rental, and possess valid drivers' license. Valid international drivers’ licenses are accepted.

Renter must have major credit card and picture identification.

Renter must be present at time of pick up.

Renter's identification name must match name on credit card being used to pay for rental.

Additional drivers are allowed but must present their own insurance to cover the RV while driving. An additional $20 fee applies.

Departure and Return

Departure and return times will be scheduled upon reservation.

There are no refunds for early returns.

Late returns are subject to a $65/hour late fee up to 1.5 times the daily rental rate.

All pick-ups and returns will be to 3955 S. Redwood Road Salt Lake City, Utah 84123.

Reservation and Security Deposit

A $500 reservation deposit is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due prior to pick up.

A $1000 security deposit is required for all rentals, due prior to pick-up. This will be refunded 1-2 days after the coach is returned in the same condition as when rented unless there is an issue with damage, cleanliness or tanks that need to be emptied.

Cancellation Policy

Reservation cancellations more than 30 days prior to reservation are subject to a $100 cancellation fee.

No refunds for cancellations within 30 days of reservation; however the deposit can be used on future rentals.

Insurance

RV Partners carries no insurance for renters on the RV. Renters may either provide insurance for the RV through their own auto insurance policy or purchase insurance through MBA Choice.

MBA Choice, viewed at www.mbachoice.com is between $15 and $25/day for basic coverage.

Additional liability coverage is also available from MBA Choice for $9.95/day.

Cleaning The RV

On most rentals, we do not require a mandatory cleaning fee. However, in return we ask that you return the motor home clean. Please wipe down the counter-tops, sweep, and take all of your trash out of the vehicle.

Generator Use

3 free hours per day included in the daily rate of the RV and then $3 per hour thereafter.

Fuel

All fuel tanks must be returned full. A refueling charge will be applied if returned less than full.

Smokers or Pets

Smoking is strictly prohibited!

A $500 fee will be charged for any rentals with evidence of smoking in the vehicle. This charge is at the sole discretion of RV Partners.

Towing (with motor homes)

$50 if going to only one location. Otherwise, towing is $25 per day.

Towed items must be hooked up and inspected by RV Partners before departure.

All Vehicles that will be towing our travel trailers will need to have an electronic brake control system.

Optional Equipment

Additional accessories such as kitchen supplies, bedding, bikes, bike racks, and barbecues are available through RV Partners. Please see "Optional Equipment" section of this website or call for further details.

Responsibility of Damage and Loss

You are responsible for all damage to vehicle. This includes the loss of use to the vehicle while it is being repaired.

You are responsible for all missing equipment.

You are responsible for any theft and vandalism.

You are responsible for the Diminution of the vehicle's value caused by damage to it or repair of it (Not covered by insurance). The Diminution in value charge is 2% the value of the motor home.

You are responsible for all damage or loss caused by blowout, punctures or other road damage, unless the damage is caused by a "loss" that is collision on comprehensive.

You must report all accidents and/or damage immediately and are responsible to submit accident reports and claims to the proper authorities.

Restricted Areas

Non-public roads, unpaved/dirt roads and "off-road" areas.

All desert areas during hot periods. During these periods, many areas are not habitable and could pose a danger to humans.

Mexico

Renter is liable for all damages to vehicle, tires, towing charges and other expenses as a result of a breakdown associated with operating in these areas.

Maintenance and Breakdown Responsibility

RV Partners will give instructions and procedures for maintenance at time of rental.

Renters are responsible for checking the engine oil, fluids, and coolant levels at each refueling, as well as reporting mechanical failures immediately.

You may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in vehicle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance while under your care.

In the event of a breakdown of 12 hours or more, through no fault of the customer, you are entitled to a refund of the daily rental rate. Breakdowns exclude radio, air conditioning, refrigerator, water heater, microwave and appliances, cruise control, and generator malfunctions and no refunds are available for repair time to these items.

RV Partners will provide renters with cell phone numbers of RV specialists to aid them with any questions throughout their trip.
